This Subscription Agreement governs your use of the Care App platform. By creating an account or selecting a paid plan, you agree to be bound by these terms. This Agreement supplements our Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement.
All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be charged at the prevailing UK rate. For Executive pricing, contact hello@care-app.uk.
2.1 Paid subscriptions run on a rolling monthly basis from the date of plan activation.
2.2 Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled in accordance with Section 5.
2.3 There is no free trial on paid plans. The Free plan is available with no time limit for customers who wish to evaluate the platform before committing to a paid subscription.
3.1 If your data storage usage reaches the limit for your plan, you will be notified by email.
3.2 Additional storage can be purchased as a monthly add-on at the then-current rate displayed in the platform or at care-app.uk.
3.3 Access to the platform will not be suspended solely due to reaching a storage limit, but the ability to upload new documents and files may be restricted until additional storage is purchased or data is removed.
4.1 Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Payment is taken on or around the same date each month.
4.2 Payment is processed securely online. You must provide valid payment details at the point of subscription.
4.3 If payment fails, we will notify you by email. If payment is not resolved within 7 days, your account may be downgraded to the Free plan or suspended until payment is made.
4.4 We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. You may cancel without penalty if you do not accept a price change, provided notice is given before the new price takes effect.
5.1 You may cancel your paid subscription at any time by giving one calendar month's written notice by email to hello@care-app.uk.
5.2 You will retain access to your paid plan for the remainder of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
5.3 On cancellation, your account will automatically revert to the Free plan (subject to Free plan limits) unless you request full account deletion.
5.4 You may request a data export at any time before or within 90 days of cancellation. After 90 days, all data will be permanently deleted.
6.1 The platform is intended for use by registered care organisations and their authorised staff.
6.2 Each staff member must have their own individual login. Sharing login credentials is not permitted.
6.3 You are responsible for ensuring all users within your organisation comply with this Agreement and the Care App Terms of Service.
6.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be in breach of acceptable use requirements.
7.1 You are the Data Controller for all personal data entered into the platform. Inkfinity Print Solutions Ltd is the Data Processor.
7.2 Processing is governed by the Care App Data Processing Agreement.
7.3 All data is stored in the UK (Google Firebase, London region — europe-west2).
7.4 In the event of a data breach, we will follow the procedure at care-app.uk/incident-response.php.
8.1 All plans include email support at hello@care-app.uk (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm).
8.2 Professional and Executive plans include priority support with a target response time of one business day.
8.3 On-site training and onboarding sessions are available on the Executive plan and may be arranged separately for other plans at an additional cost.
9.1 We will use reasonable endeavours to maintain platform availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
9.2 We shall not be liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers, including Google Firebase, or by factors outside our reasonable control.
10.1 Our total liability under this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
10.2 We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of data, revenue, or business.
10.3 Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
11.1 The Care App platform remains the intellectual property of Inkfinity Print Solutions Ltd.
11.2 You are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the platform for the duration of your subscription.
11.3 All data you enter into the platform remains your property.
12.1 We may update this Agreement from time to time. You will be notified of material changes by email with at least 30 days' notice.
12.2 Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
