Payslips, P45s and P60s come from your payroll provider. What to send them for starters, leavers and each pay period.
For managers
Payslips, P45s and P60s come from your payroll software or accountant, because they work out tax, National Insurance and net pay. Care App gives them what they need to do it.
What to send your payroll provider
- Each pay period: the pay file from Finance, Payroll, Export, and the Absence report. See Prepare pay for your payroll provider.
- For a new starter: their pay profile details, and their P45 or starter declaration.
- For a leaver: their Leaving Date, entered on their pay profile in Finance, Staff Profiles. Their final pay is in the next pay file, and the payroll provider issues the P45.
Good to know
- P60s are issued by your payroll provider after the end of the tax year (by 31 May).
- If a member of staff asks for a payslip, ask your payroll provider or check your payroll software.
