Pricing

Care App publishes every price. Here is how the two compare from what each company makes public.

Access Care Planning
POA per carer or per bed, yearly
Access's pricing page shows "£POA": an annual cost per carer or per bed, set-up costs and a one-time implementation fee. Its G-Cloud 14 public-sector list: about £10.49 to £11.86 per active employee per month, invoiced yearly in advance, implementation £720 to £4,000, plus a mandatory £187.50 Workspace fee. Rostering (People Planner) is priced separately.

Why providers choose Care App

The differences that matter most when choosing between Care App and Access Care Planning.

Care records and rota in one product

With Care App the rota, timesheets, pay preparation and invoices sit alongside care plans and eMAR. At Access, rostering and billing are a separate product, People Planner, with its own price and implementation.

No implementation fee

Care App has no setup fee: start online and we import your client and staff lists for you. Access lists one-off implementation fees, from £720 to £4,000 on its public-sector price list.

Monthly, not a year in advance

Care App is billed monthly, with 1 month's notice after the trial. Access's G-Cloud terms invoice the annual fee in advance.

Built for small and medium services

Care App is priced per user with no minimum contract value, so a small service pays for what it uses.
