Pricing

Care App publishes every price. Here is how the two compare from what each company makes public.

CareOS
Quoted for supported living
CareOS publishes home care prices only: £10 per client per month on a 12-month term (£9 with a 24-month price lock), minimum £100 a month, with unlimited users. Supported living has its own pricing model and is quoted. Terms typically run 12 months and renew for 12 months at a time; ending early needs 60 days' notice and 50% of the fees that would have been payable. Fees exclude VAT.

Why providers choose Care App

The differences that matter most when choosing between Care App and CareOS.

A price you can see

Care App publishes one price per staff user for everyone, from £12 a month. CareOS quotes supported living prices provider by provider.

Monthly, no tie-in

Care App is monthly with 30 days' notice and no exit fee. CareOS terms typically run 12 months, renew automatically, and charge 50% of the remaining fees to leave early.

Try it first

Care App has a free month, set up yourself. CareOS offers a demo and a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of a trial.

Split billing by name

Care App's Supported Living edition divides each person's invoice between local authority, ICB and private top-up shares. CareOS bills by funder and compares commissioned with delivered hours.

Per staff, not per person

Care App charges per staff user, so the number of people you support does not change the price.

QR check-in at the property

Staff check in with the property's QR code as well as by location. CareOS lists GPS check-in.

How much does CareOS cost for supported living?

CareOS does not publish supported living prices; it quotes them. Its published home care price is £10 per client per month on a 12-month term, minimum £100 a month. Care App's Supported Living edition is £12 per staff user per month for the first 10 users, then £10.50, £7.50, £4.50 and £3.50 as the team grows, so 10 staff cost £120 a month and 20 staff £225, before VAT.

Can I leave CareOS early?

CareOS terms typically run 12 months and renew automatically. Ending early needs 60 days' notice and a charge of 50% of the fees that would otherwise have been payable. Care App is monthly with 30 days' notice and no exit fee.

Does Care App do positive behaviour support and MCA/DoLS?

Yes. Behaviour support plans with proactive and reactive strategies, ABC charts, MCA assessments with best interest decisions, and DoLS authorisations with a warning 60 days before one runs out.
